Heres is another entry for the blog, is a little reflection related to the career that I'am study. You may think that I talk a little to much about this topic (my career) but, what can I say? It take the most part of my daily life.
My career, as almost every career that is related to arts, dosen't have a big work field in my country, neither pay to much on it, to be able to have a good wage you have to be really good in class, have good grades, wide knowledge about autors, arts periods, cutting-edge, artist and the historical influences that is related in the art.
I believe that Art History is a very tough career that you can't take it as a joke. But, even I don't fulfill the qualities that i mention before, I think that is good to work that harder and know that much to be recognised and have a good salary, because that push you to be the best of the bestest. Don't get me wrong, of course I think that everyone must take more seriously the arts and give to the people who work in it a better payment, but I like to see how that (bad) pressure move every student to know more and better, don't just have the degree and have a big wage at once.
An example of the case that I said before are some laws students, that ones who barely were able to graduate and know just the necesary, that demand a big amount of money in their first cases, even if they don't know how do it right (I'm sure that most of you have met some of that lawyers before).
I know that a lot people in Chile don't think abou M.O. as an example of a great person, but this quote is so good, not just for my career, for every student of every career. Don't forget that.
Bye-bye my little cupcakes!

this is just very true
